FAQ - Vans

Q. Do your vans come with a warranty?

A. In addition to warranties provided on the vehicle by Mercedes-Benz USA, all of our builds include a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty on our work. All components are covered by their respective warranties and will be fulfilled through San Juan Vans.

Q. What make/model are your camper vans

A. We specialize in the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 144 and 170 models. Most of our vans are pre-built to spec utilizing one of our available layouts. We are opening up 2023 to a small amount of van builds with customer provided vans.

Q. Do you provide modifications or accessories to mercedes sprinters?

A. Yes. We are an authorized dealer/installer for Owl Vans, Stoked Adventure Outfitters, Aluminess, Fiamma Awnings, Flatline Van Company, S&B 47 gallon fuel tanks, Victron Energy components, and more. We also provide Van Compass suspension upgrades in our suspension shop, and carry AM Auto Glass screened slider windows for Sprinter. If you have a Sprinter, Revel, or Storyteller Overland van, please do not hesitate to contact us for any modifications or accessories for your Sprinter.

Q. Do you accept deposits for upcoming van builds?

A. Yes, we do accept deposits. Vans reserved with enough advance notice will have some limited customization options. Deposits are non-refundable once the van build process begins. Contact us today to inquire about placing a deposit on one of our upcoming builds.

Q. what does “off-grid” mean in the context of your vans?

A. Our vans are built with the most capable off-grid technology available today. They’re not built with dependence on shore power or propane in mind. We utilize the industry’s most capable off-grid power system from Lithionics, and hydronic heating/hot water systems utilizing the vehicle’s fuel tank as it’s fuel source. What does this mean? This means you can enjoy heat, hot water, air conditioning, and electric cooking anywhere and everywhere. The power system is totally self-sustaining with power generated from solar and a secondary vehicle alternator. Shore power is an optional charging source, but one that goes unused by most of our customers as it is usually unnecessary.

Q. Do you do custom builds?

A. We generally focus on builds using our existing layouts, but feel free to contact us if you have something more custom in mind.

Q. Do you Provide the Van?

A. We can source a Mercedes Sprinter 144” or 170” van for you, or you can provide your own. Check our inventory page for available vans.

Q. How long does a build take?

A. Van builds are usually 8-10 weeks, and truck camper shells are built in the order the deposit was received, usually a few weeks for just a shell, and another 2-4 weeks for a full build out.

Q. Do you provide In-House Financing?

A. We don’t offer in-house financing, but work do work with local banks for financing. Please contact us to find out more information.
