Animas Surgical Hospital Covid 19 Mobile Vaccination Clinic Van
This was an incredibly unique project for the San Juan Vans shop developed in partnership with Animas Surgical Hospital in Durango, CO. This van was purpose built to help distribute the Covid-19 vaccine to our community as quickly as possible. It features a redundant off-grid power system with solar, shore power, and DC-DC alternator charging to keep the vaccine refrigerated in a medical grade vaccine refrigerator.
Powder coated aluminum cabinetry and all medical grade finishes create a sterile mobile medical environment. A high altitude capable diesel powered Espar heater allows for a heated cab during colder weather. San Juan Vans also added rear swiveling captain’s chairs to help transport personnel and provide patient seating. This van needs nothing more than a parking space or two and some medical staff to provide vaccinations anywhere.
